A Quilter's Blog Hop Party Give-away!!
Quilting Gallery is hosting a blog hop giveaway to celebrate St. Patricks Day.

I'll be giving away a Mug Rug and 5 (18x21) fat quarters in a bundle. I'll ship internationally, so everyone is welcome to enter. The giveaway will close on Friday, March 23 at 11:59pm (U.S.-EST). On Saturday, March 24th I will use the Random Number Generator to choose a winner and announce the winner.

  39. Guess What? I am baking corn beef and then later I will cook vegetables and cabbage in a big pot on the stove. Right now it is snowing. The Blog Hop Party will have my full undivided attention right now. Guess my dear husband and myself will stay home and enjoy St. Patrick's Day at home where it is safe and warm.   41. We celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a traditional corned beef boiled dinner - corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. We often also touch base with our children who live in other places.

  55. I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day although people think I am Irish because of my last name - Ocansey. It is West African though - my ex is from Ghana. So I would say we are black Irish - not really knowing what that really is. :)

    Our son came for a surprise visit so we have had a very lucky week. I am a kindergarten teacher in my professional life and my little school children made leprechauns and wore green. We all got lucky coins at the end of the day.

    Yes, we celebrate St Patrick's Day but we do it much more quietly than others because we don't hit the bars at all. I really do think I must have one green beer someday though. I have never had one yet but, of course the fact I don't really like beer is part of that reason but I feel left out. LOL Anyway, I make a huge corned beef and cabbage meal and this year two of our 4 boys were here as well as one of their fiancee's and our new Granddaughter who is now 5 weeks old. It was a great day. We had bought our Granddaughter the most adorable Shamrock shaped bib that said 'My 1st St Patrick's day' for her to wear too.

A good friend of ours his Birthday is two days before St Patrick's Day and he is Irish so we always celebrate both events for him and have great fun, especially with bringing something green to eat to the party (which isn't salad!)
